A Fire Safety Awareness Program was conducted on 24.06.2026 at Dr. M.G.R. Chockalingam Arts College, Arni by the Tamil Nadu Fire & Rescue Services officers from the Arni Fire Station. The session included valuable insights on fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and safety measures to be followed during fire accidents and other emergencies. The officers demonstrated practical rescue techniques, including handling water-related emergencies and firefighting procedures, helping students gain hands-on awareness of disaster response. The officers also motivated students by providing guidance on career opportunities and preparation for Government competitive examinations, especially in the Fire & Rescue Services. Certificates were awarded to the students who answered the questions correctly during the interactive session. Our sincere thanks to the Arni Fire Station officers for conducting such an informative and inspiring awareness program. Safety begins with awareness.

On the occasion of our Chairman's birthday, rice bags were distributed to underprivileged families as part of a social welfare initiative. A Blood Donation Camp was organized in our college to promote awareness about the importance of blood donation. Students and staff actively participated and donated blood voluntarily.
