About College
Dr. M.G.R. Chockalingam Arts College, an institution of academic excellence, was established in the year 1997-1998 with a cherished desire to serve the cause of humanity through higher education. This college has been affiliated to Thiruvalluvar University, Serkadu, Vellore-632 115 and has been recognized by the Government of TamilNadu. It is a Co-Educational Arts college offering Ten Under Graduate courses and Four Post Graduate courses and two M.Phil., Research courses.

Admissions
Students are required to register along with the completed application forms. After registration, communication will be sent to those students who have been provisionally selected. The provisionally selected student has to attend an interview along with their parents on the date and time specified in the intimation card. If the student fails to attend the interview on the date and time mentioned, the provisional selection is automatically cancelled. All admissions are provisional, subject to approval by the University of Madras.
